Toxin Free Home: Bathing

Blog - Toxin Free Bathing.png

We're back with the second installment!  Here's the complete list of products mentioned:

Products Used Daily:

Chagrin Valley Soap & Salve shampoo bar - $8.65 - I use the Butterbar as it also has conditioners in it.  I recommend trying a few of their sample size bars to find the one that suits your hair type.

Good Soap by Alaffia - $2.65 - this particular soap from them only seems to be available at Whole Paycheck, er...Foods

C.O. Bigelow’s Mach 3 razor base - $79 or $49 depending on model - I may have called this a Mach 5 in the video.  Oopsie.

The shampoo bar can also be used as a body and shaving soap if you really want to simplify your shower routine.  At almost $9 a bar though, I tend to only do that when I’m on vacation and only want to bring one bar of soap with me. doesn’t leak in my suitcase!

Used Occasionally:

Dr. Bronner’s peppermint soap.

Apple Cider Vinegar Rinse to keep your locks luscious

So to sum it up, less than $12 worth of natural soap bars replaces about $50 worth of my former products.  (Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, shave gel, face wash, facial exfoliator, body exfoliator)
