Day 2 of the refrigerator. We are going to continue on to the next two shelves. If you’re out of shelves, head on to a drawer or door.
Alright guys. You know the drill:
Pull everything off of the shelf your working on.
Spritz the empty shelf with a simple vinegar spray. This will loosen any crud without spraying harmful chemicals near your food. Let it soak and head back over to your pile of food.
Check all of the dates - any that are expired should be tossed now. Any that are close to expiring that won’t be eaten can be donated. Anything without an expiration date may have been in there before they required expiration dates. Eek! Out it goes!
Having bags on hand for trash, compost, recycle and donate can make this a breeze.
Wipe the shelf and all the “keep” food back on it.
Tomorrow we tackle the drawers and doors.
