Let’s move on to the rest of your underthings. Gather any slips, shape wear, pantyhose and tights you have.
Go head, set that timer for 20 and find them. I’ll wait.
Dump them all onto the bed and you know the drill. Put your favorites to the side and question the rest. If you only keep your favorites, you’ll love what you’re wearing each day. If you’re still unsure about some items, ask yourself:
- How do I feel when I wear this?
- Do I even like this?
- Does this fit?
- 1 pair of shape wear (Spanx)
- 1 pair each of black and tan nylons
- 2 pairs of tights
- 1 each of black, tan, “fun” and strapless bras
If those numbers sound too low to you, I encourage you to try it for a month or two. You can keep the extras in a bag in the garage or closet and see if you pull any out. Another way to determine how many you need is to think through how many of each item you wear in a week. While this may sound limited, too much choice got you to the point of frustration. Keep that in mind as you finish sorting and donating.
