Now that we’ve got everything planned out on paper, it’s time to rearrange the clothes to match. Set that timer for 20. You’re going to have to hustle.
The easiest way to do this part is to pull half of your clothes out of your closet and put them on the bed. That gives us open space to move in the closet.
Now begin by putting all of your shirts together in one place, then move on to pants, then skirts and then dresses in the places you’ve planned for them on your sketch from yesterday. You will most likely be pulling clothes from the bed and from the ones that are still hanging in the closet.
Once you’ve arranged all of your hanging clothes, you can move on to the drawers in your closet and make those match your sketch, OR you can wait to do those when the rest of us are over organizing our dressers in a few days.
Tomorrow we will add some finishing touches. It will involve matching hangers, so I recommend heading to Ross, TJ Maxx or Marshalls and picking up a couple of packs of those fuzzy slimline hangers. I prefer the light tan ones, but whatever color suits your fancy is fine.
