Simplified 365: An Introduction

I've been working on a book for a while now, but the progress hasn't been as quick as I'd like, because...slacker.  So.  I thought I would share it with you day by day.  If that gets too overwhelming, I'll switch to a week by week format, but for now, let's try this. 

The premise is that most organizing books are really damn overwhelming.  "Just get rid of all your things and voila! You'll be organized".  Oh....gee.  Why didn't I think of that?  #$%@&!!!! 

"Simplified 365" has pretty much the same theme, less is more, BUT with a twist I've never seen in an organizing book.  It is a day by day guide and checklist that will only require 15 minutes a day to complete. I don't know about you guys, but unless I have a (very short) list to follow that says "DO THIS", I don't get anything done.  My hope is that this will be the guide you need as we move area by area through your home and life to declutter, simplify and organize the damn thing once and for all. 

I unearth the same organizing books over and over in client's homes.  When I hand them the book, they grin and give a sheepish shrug.  The book didn't work, or I wouldn't be in their living room. So let's try something new.

Use these posts to guide your journey, 20 minutes at a time. There will be 30 posts per month, one per day (but you'll have to hustle a bit in February).  I recommend starting on the first of a month to keep the days straight in your mind, but it really doesn't matter.  The 23rd can be your day 1.  If you are more of a 2 hours on a Saturday morning type of person, just plow through 7 days worth of tasks then.  

2 hours(ish) of your time per week.  That's all this is asking. 2 hours a week to change your life.  You've got this.
